Ubuntu Partnership
The Ubuntu Partnership is an ongoing collaboration between academic institutions in England and academic and service providers in East Africa. By adopting a critical lens, it aims to examine, address and respond to colonial influences in collaborations. The Ubuntu Partnership was made a reality, formed through a successful project application to the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) in 2023. A two-day event at the University of Rwanda showcased the initial work. More information about the initial project can be found here. Our work on global north/south collaborations creates a template for future practice. Contact me for support on consultancy on this.
